TMRC Preview

Now I know why I prefer hand-drawing. *sigh* Paint and I still have a lot of issues to work out.

Anyway, this is a preview of my upcoming fanfic - The MorningRay Chronicles, or TMRC. It's based off of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky games and will span four parts. Here is a quick glimpse of what you can expect:

Part 1 - Essentially the prequel to the games. The protagonist is a human girl named Leah (6 in the first few chapters, but 13 thereafter.) After a tragedy that rips her family apart, she teams up with Grovyle to learn how to reverse the planet's paralysis, earning the enmity of Primal Dialga's army all the while.

Part 2 - This section covers chapters 1-20 of the games - along with a few twists and additional scenes. Leah wakes up as a Treecko with no memories other than her name and the fact that she was formerly a human. She forms an exploration team with Roran the Riolu in the hope that they can solve their personal mysteries together.

Part 3 - This section covers the post-game missions, from graduation until the final major with the one who started it all.

Part 4 - This is a sequel to the games. Dialga sends Leah and Roran on a mission to the future because something sinister is happening there that even the greatest explorers of that time cannot stop on their own.

Sound interesting? This should probably keep me occupied for a few years. Updates may be slow at times, depending on my college workload, but I will always try to keep you updated via journals if I'm experiencing any serious delays. The prologue to Part 1 should be up this weekend.

Thank you for reading this exhausting monologue, and sorry to have taken up so much of your time. Even though I've been writing for about nine years now, this will be my first time writing fanfiction. As such, this project will essentially be a rough draft, and feedback and constructive criticism will always be welcomed and greatly appreciated.
